MyPost CSV Upload Guide
Learn what MyPost Business needs before uploading a bulk shipping CSV.
How MyPost CSV upload works
A bulk upload file contains one shipment per row. MyPost Business reads sender, recipient, service, package, and compliance fields from the CSV.
Required fields
Confirm recipient name, phone, address line 1, suburb, state, postcode, packaging type, delivery service, item description, dimensions, weight, and dangerous goods flag.
Phone number format
Use a clean Australian local mobile format such as 04xxxxxxxx. Remove spaces and country prefixes when needed.
Address, suburb, state, and postcode
Keep the street address separate where possible. Use an Australian state abbreviation and a four-digit postcode, and manually check low-confidence suburb parsing.
Packaging type and delivery service
The built-in domestic preset uses OWN_PACKAGING and PP. Confirm these values suit your MyPost Business workflow before upload.
Dimensions and weight
Provide length, width, height in centimetres and weight in kilograms. ShipFormat calculates these values from item quantity for its built-in product rule.
Dangerous goods flag
The default value is NO. You remain responsible for identifying restricted or dangerous goods and using the correct carrier process.
Why imports fail
Blank required fields, extra header rows, empty order rows, invalid phone formats, address mismatches, and unsupported service values can cause rejection.
How to fix errors before upload
Review yellow rows, correct red rows, confirm sender details, remove blank orders, and inspect the exported CSV before importing it into MyPost Business.
