Why order exports often fail MyPost Business import
The order export cannot be imported directly
Store and marketplace exports use their own columns. They rarely match a shipping import template without restructuring.
The required CSV columns do not match
Recipient, sender, service, packaging and parcel fields must appear under the expected MyPost Business headers.
Phone and address formatting causes errors
Country prefixes, combined address strings, full state names and repeated suburbs can leave otherwise valid orders needing review.
Manual copying takes too long
Copying shipment details row by row introduces mistakes and does not scale when an order file contains many recipients.
Convert an order file in three steps
- Upload your order fileSelect an XLSX, XLS or CSV export. ShipFormat reads the first worksheet locally in the browser.
- ShipFormat cleans and maps the fieldsRecipient details and quantities are normalised into the built-in MyPost Business columns and uncertain rows are flagged.
- Download a MyPost Business-ready CSVConfirm sender details, review yellow rows, correct blocked rows, then export the available shipments.
Fields and rules handled by the current converter

- Address line safety: keeps MyPost address lines at 40 characters or less when they can be split safely; unresolved rows are blocked from export.
- Order quantity: reads quantity and calculates parcel length, width, height and weight with the current built-in product rule.
- Current parcel rule: length is 30 cm, width is
10 × ceil(quantity / 3), height is5 × min(quantity, 3), and weight is0.3 × quantitykg. - MyPost fixed values: writes
OWN_PACKAGING, delivery servicePP, item descriptionGeneral Goods, and dangerous goods flagNO. - Label information: leaves
Additional Label Information 1blank and does not export an order-number column. - Row status: marks complete rows OK, uncertain but complete rows for review, and rows missing critical recipient fields as not exportable.
Supported scope and current limitations
The built-in preset targets domestic MyPost Business CSV preparation. The Free plan previews all converted rows and exports up to 20 rows per conversion; Pro removes that row limit and enables the paid workflow features shown on the main converter.
Address handling is rule-based and is not official address validation. The postcode and suburb still need human review when a source address is ambiguous. The built-in parcel formula and fixed service values reflect the converter's current configured workflow and may not suit every product or shipment. Always inspect the CSV and confirm the carrier settings before importing it.
